I took about a week / a week and a half to focus on catching up with updates (I’m kind of late to the party with Octane 4), but the timing worked out for me because I recently started working with Quixel Mixer. There’s access to both Specular and Metalness PBR workflow, so I ended up utilizing the new Universal Materials in Octane (as well as Mix Materials) in order to explore the Metalness workflow. This method was used to create the textures for the street & sidewalk, and I used the Metallic Material in Octane (as well as Glossy and Specular) to create the textures for the car. The rust & scratches on the car were made with the dirt rig from Pixel Lab.
